Here you will find the report and full results from all the Percy Pud 10km races from 2002 and the full results from the Striders organised fell races plus the results of Striders who have competed in races, including the London marathon since 2005. This section of the website also has the full archived results from the Striders 10km Championship Races, the Striders X-Country Championship Races, the Steel City Mile, the Salt Cellar Fell Race, the Sheffield Way Relay Races and the Dronfield Way Relay Races plus the results from the Long Distance Strider competitions, the Road Race Championships and the Fell Race Championships.

Once we have completely transferred all the archive material from the old website the archive section will be updated to reflect the results from the last few months. Thereafter it will be continually updated and developed over time. The aim is to add more back results and perhaps digitalised versions of Striders News magazine etc. If you have any archive results or have suggestions of what may be added at a later stage please use the contact us page on the main website.

Striders 10km Race

The club 10km Championship Race has taken place since the mid eighties. Since 2006 it has been held in late June/early July along the traffic free track alongside Ladybower reservoir, starting and finishing at the dam head near the Yorkshire Bridge pub, Bamford. Early results were recorded manually and will be added to this site in due course; see results from 2005 onwards.

Striders X-Country Race

The club X-Country Championship Race has taken place since the mid eighties. For many years it took place around the christmas/new year period in Graves Park as a standalone event. From 2004/05 to 2006/2007 Striders held a joint club championship race with members of City of Sheffield AC/Sheffield Running Club. For the 2007/2008 and 2008/09 seasons it was incorporated in the open cross country race organised by Sheffield R.C. In 2009/10 the race was moved from its traditional date to take place in mid October as a standalone event again. The 2014/2015 race took place as part of the first South Yorkshire X-Country race. Early results were recorded manually and will be added to this site in due course; see results from 2005 onwards.

The Long Distance Strider

This club competition, first started in February 2006, rewards the Striders who clock up the most race miles in a year. Race times have no bearing and so there are no age categories, just men and women. see results of all races.

Steel City Mile

The Steel City Mile is a series of graded races over the classic distance which for many years in the club history was incorporated into the annual club track meeting. This was last held in 2005. Early results were recorded manually and will be added to this site in due course; see results from 2004 and 2005.

Dronfield Way Relay

The Dronfield Way Relay has been held every year since 2004 and was designed to be a friendly, low key and mildly competitive event appealing to all club members. Teams are chosen to be as equal as possible with the aim of creating a close finish. The course is a 15 miles off road route run clockwise from, and returning, to Holmsfield. Each team of the three 5 mile legs are covered by 2 members of the team. See results from all races.

Percy Pud 10km Race

The Percy Pud 10km has been organised by Steel City Striders since the first race in 1993. The course, out and back along Loxley Valley, near Sheffield, is slightly undulating with very few turns making it ideal for setting a personal best. The event has grown in popularity from the first race when 600 finished the race to recent years when the entry has been limited to around 2,000. Early results were recorded manually and will be added to this site in due course; results from 2002 onwards can be found here:

Salt Cellar Fell Race

Steel City Striders have organised an open fell race since 2011. The first year it was the Cuttroat Fell Race but then it changed into the Salt Cellar Fell Race See results from all races.

Sheffield Way Relay

This Sheffield Way Relay has been held every year since 1997. It is a team event. The course is a 50 mile off road route around the perimeter of Sheffield. Each of the five 10 mile legs are covered by 2 members of each team. Early results were recorded manually and will be added to this site in due course; see results from 2005 onwards.

Sheffield Way Ultra Race

The Ultra Race was incorporated into the main event in 2013. This requires each individual runner to complete the whole 50 miles from start to finish. See results from 2013 onwards.
