Have you ever wondered how many Striders it would take to circumnavigate the earth (24,902 miles)? This club competition, first started in February 2006, will help answer the question. In a nutshell the winners of the Long Distance Strider competition are the Striders who clock up the most race miles in a year. Race times have no bearing and so there are no age categories, just men and women. There are only 2 rules: one, that the race must have taken place between 1st January and 31st December; two, it has to be some sort of race that can be verified. The parkruns were only included in the competition prior to year 2013. Results below are archives from year 2006 to present.
